Azim Azim, 2004 golden buckskin colt, Blood line Arab Sire Arik (Ametist, son of Absent x Aishat) Dam Valentyna (Panache x Matushka) Azim is very valuable as a prospective breeding stallion. His sire Arik did not leave any pure bred offspring before his death almost 10 years ago, and the amount of Arik’s frozen semen is limited. Arik was a grandson of Absent, who won medals in 3 subsequent Olympic games and was placed among the ten best dressage horses of the century. Absent’s sire Arab completed in 1935 the famous long distance ride form Ashkhabad to Moscow, then held on to a record in jumping. Arik’s dam Aishat was one ! of the most valuable mares in Stavropol. While numerous horses have Absent in their pedigree, very few are this close to him. In combination with Aishat, and with line breeding to Azal on the dam’s side, Azim will be very valuable as a breeding stallion. His temperament is alert and super calm, not fazed by anything. Truly a brave work horse with many talents and a great future.
